| Dear Praying Family and Friends, In May, Pastor Jacob presented our ministry to two churches in Colorado. On the 3rd, he presented at Grace Baptist Church of Common City, CO & Valley Baptist Church of Lamarr, CO. They were a blessing! On the 5th of that month, tragedy struck as a mom we’d been ministering to lost her battle to cirrhosis. On the 7th, Pastor Jacob was asked to lead a Christian funeral service for her. He was able to clearly present the Gospel to her lost extended family and give them hope that they could be with her in heaven someday. Several prayed to accept Christ at her funeral! Please continue to especially pray for her children and family. On May 17, Bro. Caleb Dowler, a college student from FL interning with us for the summer and especially helping with our youth, arrived. We hit the ground running! From the 18th- 19th, he and Pastor Jacob went to True Light Baptist Church of Los Lunas, NM, for a Revival Meeting. From May 21st-24th, we hosted our Missions Revival at New Haven Baptist with Missionary Mark Haynes. He was a blessing and encouragement to our people! In June, we had Jr. Camp at West Branch from the 8th-12th. It was Samuel’s first time attending, and he loved it! From the 15th- 19th, Pastor Jacob and Caleb accompanied 12 Teens to Teen Camp at West Branch. Many decisions were made for Christ that week! On the 27th of June, “Queen” (our foster daughter) went to live with her aunty out of state. We miss her a lot, as we cared for her for 6 months and got used to her little personality! From the 29th to July 3rd, we assisted the Veldhuis Family (Lydia’s parents) with Neighborhood Bible Time at Cocopah Bethel Baptist. A wonderful time was had by all who attended from both churches! In July, we hosted VBS at New Haven from the 7th-9th with the team from Shasta Baptist Church in Redding, CA. They were invaluable in getting our VBS running smoothly and put on a wonderful program! We saw 9 salvations at this event. On the 11th, our foster son Lalo reunited with his mom. Although he was only with us a short time, he had a lasting impact on our family, and we miss having him here! From the 13th- 15th, Bro. Jacob and Lydia attended the Pacific Baptist Youth Conference in Long Beach, CA, with Bro. Caleb and Ms. Love, who assisted as sponsors. We had 12 teens attend! All are looking forward to next year and enjoyed the games and preaching each night! We especially want to thank True Light Baptist and Beeville Baptist for helping us fix our church van so we could attend the conference! On the 26th, we hosted Bro. Caleb’s Going Away Party, where he preached, and then both New Haven and Bethel Baptist fellowshipped with him and said goodbye over pizza and cake. He has had a huge impact on our teens’ lives! Within these last few months of summer, we have seen 17 salvations! Please Pray For These Upcoming Events: August We are combining the New Haven and Bethel Baptist Teens and doing a weekly Bible study for them on Wednesday nights. Starting the 11th, my wife and I will be working at Liberty Baptist Christian Academy two days a week. September 5th: West Branch Youth Conference 20th- 23rd: Fall Revival with Evangelist Archie Davis October Baptism Month 3rd: Teen Rally with Brother Caleb 18th: Friend Day November 13th: Teen Bonfire 22nd: Thanksgiving Potluck 24th: Pie & Praise Night Prayer Requests: Salvation: Deziree’s kids, Alissa and her kids, Josephine’s kids, Ricky, Kevin, Julian, David, Bricen, Donald, Ed, and Josephine’s family members. Spiritual Growth: Carlita, Love, David, Frank, Karen, Ivan, Angel, Conin, Julie, Melvin and others. Weekly ministries: Sunday School, Sunday services, Wednesday Cocopah & Quechan Teen Class, Mid- week service, Visitation, Soulwinning, baptisms, and weekly Discipleship. Personal Prayer Requests: Continued Foster care, health, wisdom, continue walk with God, work, parenting and Samuel’s schooling Thank you again!
