| Boozhoo (Ojibwe for “Hello”), We trust you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are looking forward to the celebration of Jesus’ birth! Family Sunday School & Outreach We are continuing to build on Family Sunday School every week. The average attendance is about six children aging from 6-13 years old in addition to our family. I recently finished teaching through Genesis 1-11 which is foundational for children learning the Bible for the first time. Since these children are so faithful, we have turned our outreach focus to the neighborhood where they all live. We are excited about the opportunity to continue gospel outreach here throughout the cold winter months. On Thursday October 30th, we had our second Hallelujah Night outreach. This is a great opportunity to combat ungodly Halloween revelries in White Earth by focusing on the life changing gospel of the resurrected Savior Jesus Christ. God brought twenty-five people; seven adults and eighteen children! Twenty of them came from the neighborhood in Ogema where we have been focusing our outreach. My wife made two trips to pick up van loads of people! It was a crazy night for my wife and I but God was good through it all. The Lord gave me great freedom to preach a clear gospel message to all twenty-five Ojibwe people. Please pray they will believe the gospel message. Pray we will see more of these young people come faithfully on Sunday with their families. On December 21, our Family Sunday School will be focused on Jesus’ birthday. The children have been learning Christmas carols and we invited all parents and other family members to attend. We are praying that people will come to hear the children sing and to hear the gospel message. Please pray with us for a great attendance and that people will accept the truth and be saved. Ministry Meetings In November, we had the privilege of presenting and updating our ministry in three churches here in Minnesota. One church in Bemidji, Minnesota, is only about an hour and a half away from us. This church is centered among three Ojibwe reservations, White Earth, Red Lake, and Leech Lake. Bemidji itself has a 14% Native American population. Pray for this church and the great need for laborers to take the gospel to these three Ojibwe tribes. Family LuciEmma turned one on November 7th and Max turned three on December 1st. Thank you to all those that sent birthday cards to LuciEmma and Max! It is such a great reminder that you all are praying for us and care for our family. Thank you to all the churches that have given an extra Christmas gift financially. We greatly appreciate your generosity to bless our family this Christmas season! Mii-gwech (Ojibwe for “Thank you”) for your faithfulness in prayer and financial support! May fruit abound to your account. Our family would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! For the cause of Christ, Marty, Logan Michelle, Aliza, Annie, Ezekiel, Isaiah, Max, and LuciEmma Roembke |
