Dear Colaborers In Christ,
“What if some did not believe? Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar.” (Romans 3:2&3)
Thankfully, “There is no wisdom nor understanding, nor counsel against the Lord” (Prov. 21:30) so “he will laugh and have in derision” the many Cocopah Teens who recently rejected our “intolerant Gospel” and openly flaunted their vile, short-lived, decadent lifestyles. (Psalm 2:4).
Any ambiguity about the dreadful consequences of embracing false spirits and sensual relationships over the true loving Savior disappears when one considers four Cocopah deaths and four near-death hospitalizations for mostly under 40 year olds since February’s casino payout.
There is equally no doubt also as to the import of your prayers or the power of the Gospel, as all of these were saved Natives with most of their health crises coming from substance abuse prior to their conversions to Christ.
We earnestly trust this glimpse of our Lord’s recent increase will reward you in knowing your prayers are “making a difference with compassion” on some and in “helping save others with fear.” (Jude 22,23). We couldn’t be more dependent on or thankful for your sacrifices and prayers for liberty, God’s fruit, victory, and safety throughout dangerous but opportune summer ministries ( II Thess. 3:1-3).
