Dear Friends in Christ,
What a winter we have had! We have almost surpassed the set record with the snowfall this year over 140 inches so far. This has slowed us down and kept our schedule more open than normal-yet all our needs have been supplied and we are thankful for the water after years of drought.
The classes at the Northern Arizona School of the Bible are in progress with some new students, but with summer fast approaching, they will soon be history. Pray with us for the students to understand and apply God’s Word in their lives.
Also, Sam is still recording Podcasts each week and planning to begin the book of I Thessalonians; having completed Titus and James. We are thankful for the young man from church who has the technical knowledge to run the equipment and helping us one day each week. Once these are on the internet, we will let you know how to access them. They should also be a help once we get the Alaskan Radio Station running. Pray with us that these podcasts will help Christians to grow in the Lord.
Prices have more than doubled in Alaska and we have been praying about plans to drive to Seattle and catching the ferry with needed items for the Thorne Bay building- or ordering the items and having them shipped. Please continue to pray with us, but it appears that the Lord is directing us to drive, since some items have been donated and will need to be transported.
We are still praying about electric being made available so the station can broadcast around the clock and not be limited by generator use-both in costs and time limits.
We are also still praying for direction in finding the right man to maintain the station:
the technical knowledge
willingness to stay in a remote area
his financial support
and especially to desire to serve our Lord and communicate God’s Word
It does look like the cedar siding needed will be available. Thank you for praying with us.
Once again, thank you for your prayers and being a part of our ministry to the Lord.
II Cor. 2:11 “Ye also helping together by prayer for us.”
In Christ,
Sam & Janet Grammer
