<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the close of one year and the opening of another, we marvel at all that has happened over the course of the last two months. First of all, thank you for your faithful support of the work on the Hualapai Nation. The generosity of God\u2019s people during the Holiday Season never ceases to amaze us. From Thanksgiving through the New Year, we received many kind cards and sacrificial gifts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So much has happened since our October\/November letter. Steve celebrated his 60th birthday with family and friends in early December. Our children surprised us by gifting us a cruise – coming in February\/March just before Sherry celebrates her 60th! Steve is excited. Sherry is nervous. Both are looking forward to some time together. As our various Christmas activities rolled along, we were blessed by our local police department to be recognized for our volunteer service with plaques of gratitude. Steve has now served as chaplain of the department for three years and Sherry has helped alongside him – helping to plan and execute special events. Sherry also planned and directed the Christmas program for Hualapai Baptist Church. Our young people narrated and sang the gospel through the lens of the Christmas story. We had a good attendance with guests joining our regular church attenders. Everyone received a goody bag as they left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
December also had us busy with two funerals. One young lady and one of our seniors went to be with the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Salvation was preached at each service, and as a result, two accepted Christ. Praise God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In January we held a teen afterglow on Sunday evening. It was an encouragement to see one of our newer teens stay for the fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On January 12, Sherry flew home to Ohio to be with her dad who had su\ufb00ered a stroke. She was with him reading scripture and singing as he took his last breath on Thursday the 15th and entered Glory. Though di\ufb03cult, it was a precious time for her. Steve and Molly were able to join her in Ohio for the funeral. Steve was privileged to o\ufb03ciate the graveside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We came home to bathroom renovations in full swing. We\u2019re grateful for missionary friends brother Bud Wells and Caleb Daniels who came to o\ufb00er their skill and labor in this project. God has been so good to us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re very thankful for the many prayers o\ufb00ered on our behalf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
