It has been 17 years since God brought us back to the United States from Canada. We look back in wonder at all He has done among the native Americans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer has been busy in many good ways. June was full with Junior Camp, Teen Camp, and the first of three VBS programs for us. We held a 5 day VBS at Hualapai Baptist using the Answers in Genesis curriculum. Most of our decorations were donated from a supporting church making preparation a breeze. Thank you, Maranatha Baptist Church! We had a high attendance (kids) of 32 attending and hearing the Gospel. Two were saved! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the last week of June, Sherry, Rachael (Micah’s wife), and their 3 kids flew together to Ohio and Michigan for family time and a wedding. Ray was a handsome ring bearer and did a great job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The last Sunday was a Fifth Sunday when our teens take over church responsibilities in the morning service here at HBC. They did a wonderful job, and we’re so proud of them. Please keep our church teens in prayer. Satan is on the prowl. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The month of July began with Watermelon Wednesday. This is something we do every summer after one of our prayer meetings. Time in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship was special for the good group that attended. Our men held their monthly Men’s Fellowship and had great conversation and Bible Study together. Our ladies had another fun paint class taught by Steve’s mom, Becky. She also gave a short devotional. The theme was Christmas in July. Now everyone has a painting ready to hang up in December. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
July also brought the Korean Baptist Church from Las Vegas over to hold another 3 day VBS for us including bounce houses on the last day. This is the third time this group has come, and we love their heart for ministry. Our last VBS is one that we drove down to the Ft. Mohave reservation to hold for a church who had not had VBS for quite a few years and needed a refresher. We enjoyed teaching them new songs, new games, and presenting the wordless book lessons. Two decisions were made by believers to grow in Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sherry and Laurie continue going to the local jail to hold Bible studies and love sharing Christ with incarcerated ladies. This month they saw one dear lady trust Christ as Savior. And another come to Sunday services after getting out. Praise God!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We ended the month with another special prayer meeting fellowship – Sundaes on Wednesday. There was good attendance and an abundance of ice cream and toppings for all. In general, our attendance at HBC has picked up. We’re thankful to see so many desiring to hear and learn from God’s Word. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
