Dear Family and Friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These last several months have been very productive. We have been working with a whole new group of believers. Many church planters can relate to this. Many times when planting a new church, you have a high turnover of attendees. We are still averaging 30-35 weekly. Some of the people have been coming for a while, and are desiring to serve within the church. We are excited about that! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also been doing marriage counseling with a young couple as well as individual counseling for other attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the month of March, we began having a ministry night once a month where we were able to let regular attendees know how they can be involved within the local New Testament church. We had ten attendants. It is amazing to see God working in their lives and giving them a desire to serve! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the 23rd of March, we were able to have our ladies fellowship with guest speaker and Pastor\u2019s wife Leslie Leonard from Cornerstone Baptist of Sahaurita. The theme was Reflecting Christ and relying on Him over relying on man\u2019s wisdom. The ladies from Cocopah Bethel Baptist were able to attend as well. We had 8 in attendance. The ladies and teens had an excellent spirit and listened intently! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 31st, we had 40 at our Easter Service. Pastor Jacob gave a clear presentation of the Gospel during the service, and a potluck brunch was served after. It was a blessing to see many of the ladies come together to bring dishes and serve in this ministry!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The month of April was filled to the brim with ministry events! On April 14th, we had our Anniversary Sunday. We praise the Lord for all He has done in the last three years! It is a blessing to see souls being saved and lives being changed through the power of God\u2019s Word! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 18th-21st, we had our Missions Revival with Pastor Steven DeFord of Hualapi Baptist Church and the Donohos Missionaries to Bolivia present at our church. Each night the church was challenged by Pastor DeFord with the concept of giving and to think about Faith Promise Missions. Mrs. DeFord taught the children\u2019s class the meaning of the Wordless Book and the plan of salvation. A meal from each of the countries that our church prays for was served after each service.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 26th-27th, Pastor Jacob was able to take one young man to West Branch\u2019s Men on the Move Conference in Williams, AZ. They had a great time! Please continue to pray for us as we move forward in doorknocking, discipleship, counseling, and the establishment of New Haven Baptist Church. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 * Please pray for our children\u2019s ministry as 10 of our regular route riders have moved due to foster care or home situations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

* Please pray for Lydia\u2019s health as she was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea on top of her other lung concerns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

* A young Quechan teenager named Ivan who’s been showing signs of spiritual growth. He is getting involved with ushering, helping with children’s class, van ministry, & helps Scripture Reading. Please continue to pray for him. Pastor Jacob is going to begin discipleship with him this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

* The Golding Family- Seneca struggles with addiction, but her mom, Bernita and the grandkids attend our church faithfully. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
