August 2025\u00a0Prayer Letter<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
Dear Family and Friends,

For the last several months, we have continued to disciple teens and adults while we are doing our regular weekly ministries.\u00a0

During the month of May, we were busy with ministry. On May 3rd, we took our teens to a youth rally at Evangelical Baptist Church. We had 3 teenagers attend.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0

From the 19th- 20th, Jacob attended a revival meeting at True Light Baptist Church of Los Lunas, NM. It was a blessing to be able to update our sending church on what God is doing here at New Haven!\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0

On the 21st, Jacob had\u00a0the privilege to preach\u00a0at Littlefield Independent Baptist Church in Littlefield, TX. It was a blessing to be there!\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0

The month of June was packed with events! June 2nd- 3rd, Jacob attended a Church Planters Conference and was able to raise $7,800 for our VBS, Teen Rally, and van repairs.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0

From June 17th- 19th, we were privileged to have Jacobs\u2019 parents\u2019 home church, Beeville Baptist Church, come on a missions trip. They ran a three-day VBS & Teen Rally, and we had 55 people total in attendance.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0

The mission group was such a blessing to us! They ran games, crafts, Bible Class, and a preaching and game time for the Teens. The group also used their van to run another route to bring more kids to VBS!\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0

On the week of the 23rd- 27th, our Teens attended West Branch Youth Camp with Cocopah Bethel Baptist Church. We had 10 teenagers in attendance and many made decisions for Christ.\u00a0

The month of July was packed with blessings! On Sunday, July 6th, 2 of our Teen girls sang a special. It was the first time someone who attends our church had ever done this! From the 7th- 10th, Jacob and Lydia helped with Neighborhood Bible Time at Cocopah Bethel Baptist Church.\u00a0From July 14th- 16th, we took our Teens from both churches to the Pacific Baptist Youth Conference in Long Beach, CA. The conference was packed with games and events. Most importantly, the Gospel and Dedication messages were preached! 6 teenagers came to the conference and 2 made decisions for Christ.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0

On July 25th, Jacob was able to take two young adults to look at a Christian college in CA. This was a huge step for them! Pray that God gives them wisdom as to their future!\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0

* September 7th- 10th Fall Revival: with Pastor William Wallace from Marina, CA.\u00a0
* September 14th: Membership Sunday\u00a0
* October 12th: Jacob will be preaching & presenting at a church in Warsaw, MO.
* October 19th: Friend Sunday with hi Guest Preacher Bro. Chris Delgado from Riverside, CA area. Pray that many new and returning visitors will come!

Ministry Partnership Opportunities: My family and I are praying for helpers with two big events in 2026.1. Vacation Bible School (Summer Time)2. 5-day Bible club (Winter Time). If you are interested, please let us know.\u00a0

Praises
* For the last 3 months, we have seen 16 people get saved.
* For the last 3 months, we have had 5 teenagers finish their Discipleship courses.
* For the last 3 months, 14 visitors have come to the church. Prayer Requests
* Pray for our youth attendance. It has gone much lower due to distractions in this world and the fear of committing to Christ. Pray that God will soften their hearts!

New Salvations: Manuel, Genavicia, Andrew, Oscar\u00a0
* Spiritual Growth: Zane, Ivan, Diana, & Damaris,
* That Seneca can get her liver transplant soon.
* For Pastor Jacob’s application to be a chaplain at the Quechan nursing home and Police Department to be approved.
* The Foster to Adoption Process. This is a multi-step process that will require 5 weeks of training and several more steps to approval.\u00a0
* David & Love for wisdom, whether they should attend a Bible College\u00a0
* Pastor & Mrs. Veldhuis\u2019 health and for co-laborers in their ministry on the Cocopah reservation.
