Dear Ones In Christ,<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n God\u2019s wisdom is the only way to get through this life successfully. When we ask for God\u2019s wisdom, what we\u2019re saying is that we recognize the fact we can\u2019t do life on our own and that we need God\u2019s help and perfect guidance. How thankful we are that He readily makes it available to us. Our prayer is that we make it a priority to gain as much of His wisdom as we can.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n APRIL – Easter Sunday was a very special day, starting with Pastor Mike Smith\u2019s power-point on Christ\u2019s resurrection, then a time of food and fellowship at the noon meal, followed by The Lord\u2019s Supper.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n It was a great blessing for Bev to be able to go back to Indiana in April for five days to visit her ninety-four-year-old sister, Jeanne, (her last remaining sibling) and several other family members, as well. Their time together was brief, but very precious. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAY – We started the month with our annual Mother\/Daughter Banquet, with Sue Smith sharing a very timely message from God\u2019s Word, on \u201cPatterns for Living\u201d to the 22 in attendance. The meal and games were enjoyed by all. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Kirt and Elida and the boys, Joseph and Micah, came up to be with us at our Mother\u2019s Day service, and we also celebrated Micah\u2019s twelfth birthday.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Larry and Bianca had faithfully attended our church as teenagers and also after they were married. The Lord blessed them with three daughters and they continued to bring them to church. Nine years ago, at the age of thirty-two, Larry contracted MS. His was a long, difficult struggle, but he always kept a very positive attitude through it all. On May 13th, Larry went home to be with Jesus. Gary spoke at his funeral, giving a clear message of salvation. One family member, Edwina, raised her hand for salvation. Gary was able to speak with her afterward, and we want to make a follow-up visit with her.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n It has been a blessing to have several visitors in our church services, some who are continuing to attend, including Joe, who came at the invitation of a neighbor. After the service, he shared that, during the invitation, he had prayed and trusted Jesus as his Savior. Please pray for Joe\u2019s spiritual growth.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Last Sunday, Ramona and Albert came to services for the first time. They are the grandmother and father of two little girls who have been coming to church for several months now. Please pray for their salvation and that they will continue to come to services.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n We also enjoyed having our grandson, Joseph, with us for a few days and were able to celebrate his thirteenth birthday while he was here.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Update on the modular replacement: We are in the process of finding a draftsman who can draw up plans to submit to a structural engineer to design footing requirements.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n PRAISES<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n *Joe\u2019s salvation<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n *New folk coming to church<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n PRAYER REQUESTS<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n *Wisdom from the Lord in making right choices in replacement of the <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n church modular<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n *Joe\u2019s spiritual growth<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n *Siritual needs of Edwina<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Thank you so much for your prayers, phone visits and sacrificial support.
