Meaningful follow up of the glorious fruit\nof summer\u2019s neighborhood Bible Time and distant weeks of camp \u2018midst the\nchallenges of desert weather and constant facility and vehicle repairs bespeak\nthe untold value of your prayers and sacrifice for our ongoing native\nministries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We owe you too much gratitude, however, to\npresume on your enabling or fail to recognize your personal labor with us in\nour Lord\u2019s eyes: \u201c\u2026 For the Lord Jesus Christ\u2019s sake, and\nfor the love of the Spirit\u2026 ye strive together with me in your prayers to God\nfor me\u201d (Romans 15:30).<\/em>\n<\/em> May\nthis recounting of some of His blessings reward you as much as they have us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Where the conversions of 70-year-old\nMillie\u2019s granddaughter and two of her three daughters had only hardened her in\nspirit worship and vocal opposition to the gospel, your prayers gave unction to\nour frequent pleas to trust in the Lord alone and brought her to saving faith\nin Christ this summer. P.T.L. Millie is\nnow growing in him and one of the most faithful adults despite severe\narthritis! <\/p>\n\n\n\n Mid-forties, Salvador and Lorie his wife\ngrew much through weekly Bible studies and church attendance with their three\nchildren. Affordable housing for them meant\na residence in need of repairs, but the Lord also provided better income for\nthem. PRAY for their transportation and health\nneeds as well as their teenage children\u2019s legal and mental health needs. Rightly rejoice that these enormous, combined\npressures miraculously drove them to the Lord rather than to former substance\nabuse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The deaths of four 35- to 47-year-old men\nfrom substance abuse in September and October alone offer the strongest possible\nincentives to use every Biblical means to win young Cocopah to the Lord. The\nyoungest man had professed faith as a teen; one had lived out of our contact;\nand the other two never accepted the earnest gospel invitations of our\nindividual Bible studies or services. The Lord mercifully offered grace for\ngrace in allowing us to assure saved children of their own eternal home after they\nhad endured their loved one\u2019s all-night hopeless wailing cremation ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n How thrilled we were by professions of\nfaith or of assurance by Jaylon, Lilah, Lorenzo, Misty, and Violet through Neighborhood\nBible Time. Largely saved juniors and teens loved and grew through Bill Rice\u2019s west\nBranch Camp, while the Apache Creek Camp was cancelled because of flash\nflooding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The salvation and bit by bit maturation of\nyoung natives from universally broken and often abusive homes is a thrilling reality\nevidenced by their excitedly pulling family and friends to Bible clubs and\nchurch months or years after first coming. \nThis means driving without monitors to fill our largest bus on two\nreservations and still reach the third one by van.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Between the Lord\u2019s provisions for engine\nrepairs by brother Nam and a bus yard for our body work we succeeded in keeping\nat least one bus usable through September\u2019s 100 degree days. North reservation Bible clubs took a break\nwith the heat, NBT, and camps, but P.T.L. at least two of their families are now\npart of regular church pickups!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mid October brought a setback to in person\nministries when all of us except Jacob and Samuel contracted Covid 19. PRAY much for Dawn and Lydia\u2019s full recovery\nas their respiratory diseases worsened, suppressing the full benefits of the\nnormal treatment protocol and additional Regeneron infusion.
