{"id":1825,"date":"2019-07-24T16:35:51","date_gmt":"2019-07-24T23:35:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibimi.com\/?p=1825"},"modified":"2019-08-28T19:14:13","modified_gmt":"2019-08-29T02:14:13","slug":"david-deford-july-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibimi.com\/?p=1825","title":{"rendered":"David DeFord July 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>&nbsp; <\/em>Dear Prayer\nWarriors,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nAugust&nbsp; 2019 update<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/strong>Happy to be\n\u2018home\u2019 in Arizona, although it is the middle of \u201cmonsoon\u201d season which brings\nhumidity, dust storms, wind, high temps and rain.&nbsp;&nbsp; Love it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp; We arrived in Chandler\nJuly 2 and found a very nice RV spot for the next six months.&nbsp; We both have routine doctor apppointments to\ncatch up on.&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Praise<\/strong> the Lord for\ngood health during our travels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; One of the many\nblessings we received was promises of prayer for more laborers in the Native\nAmerican fields.&nbsp; The opportunity to\nspeak in S S classes and worship services made this possible.&nbsp; We were priviledged to visit in several of\nour supporting churches as well as churches we\u2019ve been familiar with over the\nyears. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Two of our\ngrandchildren will be getting married within a year.&nbsp; Micah will be married in November to Rachael\nHolder from the U P of MI.&nbsp; We were happy\nto meet her in Fargo, ND where Micah is in college.&nbsp; Next July Brenna will be marrying Drew Turner\nfrom Birmingham AL area.&nbsp; Both will be\ngraduating from PCC.&nbsp; They will be\nmarried here in Mesa.&nbsp; That will make a\ntotal of five \u2018grands\u2019 married.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Praises:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong>Good to be in our\nIBIMI churches for services and to be of assistance when needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp; <\/strong>Safety in almost\n14,000 miles of travel&nbsp; (coast to coast\nand border to border)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Encouragement from\nsupporting churches and individuals <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Many opportunities to\ntell of the need there is for dedicated workers in the Indian fields&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; The Lord\u2019s continued\nblessings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requests<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Opportunities to explain\nthe need for the Gospel message to be preached on reservations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; Pray with us for the\nLord\u2019s direction in whatever He chooses for us in the future.&nbsp; We are&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\naware we won\u2019t be able to travel as we do now for any great length of\ntime.&nbsp; We are planning&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; through January 2020 &#8211; July 2020 if the\nLord would lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp; IBIMI annual retreat\nAug. 1-3 in Albuquerque.&nbsp; Plan to do\nsurvey work on NM reservations near Albuquerque and Santa Fe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In His love and ours,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dave and Becky DeFord<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 Cor. 4:3<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Dear Prayer Warriors,&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; August&nbsp; 2019 update &nbsp;&nbsp; Happy to be \u2018home\u2019 in Arizona, although it is the middle of \u201cmonsoon\u201d season which brings humidity, dust storms, wind, high temps and rain.&nbsp;&nbsp; Love it!
